infomercial talking about all the things
"they" don't want you to know about. Click a link below to either read

Update
June 2008: The latest issue of Consumer Reports lists
this device as one that does not work. It worked for
me and MANY people who've written reviews about it in
forums online. So my best guess on this product is
that "Your mileage may vary." :-) I have
read that it takes about 4 days of driving after
installing it for the engine computer to recalibrate
itself for the difference, so maybe people aren't
giving it that time.

Oscillococcinum - This is a supplement that can fight off a cold or flu if you take it when you get the FIRST symptom
(e.g., pinch in the throat). Since I found this supplement, I've fought off what was "going around" at least six times with
it. It's available at Wild Oats on 192 in Melbourne. Click a link below for either a $1.50 off store coupon or to purchase at Amazon:
Oscillococcinum® (also called Oscillo®) Cold & Flu Medicine
Celery Seed Extract - a supplement reported by Michael Murray, MD to help people with Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis,
Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Gout. Click link below to either see Solaray 100mg 30-capsule bottle at Vitamin Shoppe or go directly to Amazon:

Teflon
Dangers - if your pet bird was sitting on your
shoulder while you stood over your stove and heated
your Teflon pan on High for about three minutes, your
bird would drop dead from the gases (isn't that why
they send a canary into a coal mine before sending
humans?).
At 680°F, Teflon pans
release at least six toxic gases, including two
carcinogens (cancer-causing substances), two global
pollutants, and MFA, a chemical lethal to humans at
low doses.

Leg Cramps
- A client with bad calf cramps told me about this product and how great it works for him, so click a link below to either read more about it or go directly to Amazon:

Leg Cramps
(part 2) - If you get calf cramps often, it may be caused by low
electrolytes (e.g. potassium, calcium, magnesium). After realizing that
Gatorade is too high in sugars for me, I found a powder mix called ElectroMix
that can be added to water to make your own "sports drink." I've
bought it at Wild Oats, but also bought it by mail order at Vitacost.com. Click a link below to either go to Vitacost or Amazon:

Computer
Trackball - For many of us who spend a lot of time on the computer, it's
common to get pain or tightness in the palm, wrist, or toward the elbow. I
realized a few years ago that this is from overuse of the "gripping"
muscles and tendons we use to move the mouse around. After I bought a
trackball to use instead of the mouse, my tightness went away because I just
rest my hand on the trackball and move the ball around with one finger, while
clicking the buttons with the thumb and other fingers. You just unplug your
mouse and plug the trackball into a USB port (one of the small rectangular
ports). Most trackballs come with software that lets you program the extra
buttons for common functions you use. I've found the Logitech Marble Mouse
(pictured below) at Office Depot to be affordable (under $20) and a good
quality trackball, so I have actually bought two--one for my desktop computer
and one for my laptop. Click the link below to go to the Logitech trackballs
page:
